My recent stay at an onsen in Nagano was simply amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The traditional room was spacious and clean, and the kimonos provided added a special touch. The highlight of my stay was the private onsen, which was absolutely divine. The hot springs were rejuvenating and the serene surroundings added to the overall tranquility. The homemade breakfast was delicious and filled with local flavors. Despite the slight inconvenience of the distance from the train station, the complimentary shuttle service made it easy to access the ryokan. I highly recommend this ryokan for anyone seeking an authentic and peaceful experience in Nagano.

Spent Easter at a traditional Japanese hotel in the mountains. Enjoyed the nature trails but nothing much to explore around the hotel. However, the staff is warm and welcoming. The delicious breakfast and dinner were served in a rustic dining room overlooking the sunset. the private onsen was relaxing.
The hotel was not as well-maintained as expected. The room was dusty, and the public onsen was too crowded.

The private onsen was a great experience with clean and well-maintained facilities. the meals offered at this hotel were outstanding and always featured fresh ingredients. the hotel location was situated in a beautiful, serene area and was easy to reach with public transportation.
The hotel could use some updating and many areas feel worn down. the public onsen was often crowded and smaller than expected, making for a less relaxing experience.
